Parsley-Cilantro Recall Issued After Salmonella Outbreak

Parsley and cilantro recall orders were issued by a Texas produce distributor Monday after samples in Quebec, Canada, and Michigan tested positive for salmonella bacteria. J&D Produce Inc. recalled nearly 7,000 cases of cilantro and curly parsley as a “precautionary, voluntary recall” of produce packed between November 30 and December 6, the company said in a statement.
