Posted on 12 February 2010 by Jan Paul
The order or the children are born affects individual personalities. Here are some insights into what makes the brood tick:
- Eldest – Boys with no sisters will lack social skills like what girls do and will be more shy to women. Girls will be perfectionist and can adopt mothering roles. They like to order around.
- Middle – They are more popular with the opposite sex, and they have wider insterests. When it comes to competition of attention, it can give boys a sense of inferiority and make girls very demanding.
- Youngest - Boys may have feminine traits. With mixed siblings, they may lack interest or ambition. Girls are mostly spoiled. They seem independent but needs guidance. They find it hard to adopt a parenting role.
- Only Child – They are self-centered, and because of the lack of attention, it makes them self-sufficient. They are more likely to absorb parent expectations, and can be more competitive.
